Blanca's Studio

Blanca's Studio, located in the vibrant heart of New York, is a testament to the passion and skill of its founder, Blanca, a self-taught seamstress hailing from Ecuador. Arriving in the US in 1989, she started from the ground up, her love for sewing blossoming into a flourishing career in high fashion. Over the years, Blanca's exceptional talent has seen her work with high luxury fashion houses, including Amsale, Carolina Herrera, Oscar De La Renta, Ellie Saab, and Vera Wang.

Sewing is Blanca’s weapon. Those in the know refer to her uncanny ability to alter anything and everything as “Blanca’s secret.” Nobody knows how she does it, but no alteration or seamstress request is impossible for the highly experienced aficionado.

From magically lengthening dresses and reimagining garments to styling celebrities and arriving to the red carpet with emergency zips, Blanca works with high profile individuals to prevent any fashion faux pas.
